We're more than capable of playing frontline of Carroll, Valencia and Sakho as well.

Happy days.

Soon we will have a front line of Carroll Valencia and Sakho

Carlton was shit. Blowing out of his arse after 10 mins and contributed nothing other than being an awkward body upfront.
We need another pacy workhorse to cover Valencia and sakho when one is injured

But delighted with the fight back & the point.

Other opinions seem to be that bringing Carlton on was the saving grace. Can't please everyone I suppose.

Worried about this game & not surprised we struggled.
Think Sam's comments about "big heads" was a response to what he had seen this week in training.
So far we arent even safe so exactly fuck all has been achieved so far, we can dream but the players need reminded of this.

Re: Stoke City v West Ham - Official Match Thread
We were fucking shit today. Fullbacks were appalling especially. However the ref was an absolute disgrace and we battled back well to get a point against 12 men. Collins was superb again as was Valencia. We missed sakho greatly and cole was utterly useless when he came on.

We would have lost that last year. A hugely improved team.

The mug cunt that was trying it on with the stoke fans and being 'held back' by his two teenage charges was an embarrassment. Spent 90 minutes making bullshit threats and watched none of the football. Why?

Off course it is. It is not everyday WHU beat a side of City's current calibre especially in a PL game.

We played a blinder last weekend to beat Man City. To follow that
Up with a draw away to Stoke will do for me.
Beat Villa next weekend will mean 7 points from 9. A very good return.

Re: Stoke City v West Ham - Official Match Thread
respect the point is very apt for today. We rode our luck, made a defensive howler for their second and were given a rough ride, yet we had the quality to equalize where as they didn't have the quality to finish us off.

NSD

Lost 2 out 4 at home this year, bearing in mind their home matches have been Leicester, Villa, Swansea and Newcastle, I'd say that's pretty poor, average at best.

Not that I'm going to get in some great debate about Stokes home form. The fact is the performance and result last week was far better than this week, which is what I responded too. Today was a good 2nd half and good point, but last week was one that will stay in memory for a few seasons.

Great point in the end.
But the first half performance as at Burnley, still shows we are realistically we're a decent mid table side now.
That'll do me. Last season would have lost this and some.

How have they been shit at home considering they've won their last 2 there before today and won 8 out of their last 12 home games in the PL?

Great result. All the better for coming back from 2 0 down. That was a morale victory. Well done West Ham.
